| The practice operates in both the public and private
sectors and has undertaken a wide variety of commercial, industrial
and residential projects including offices, studios, shopping,
supermarkets, factories, laboratories, retail and other warehouses,
leisure, flats, housing and associated infrastructures.
Work has and can be undertaken throughout Britain and mainland
Europe.
If the practice can be said to specialise it is in the field
of cost advice, estimating and construction economics where
it works in close collaboration with architects and engineers
to optimise the cost effectiveness of design solutions and
to ensure control over costs from the conceptual design stage
to contract completion.

The role of the Construction Cost Manager/Quantity Surveyor

With the introduction of the Construction (Design & Management)
Regulations, Andrews Denford & Boyd also provide the services
